the days of the week

We've had busy days here....

Monday: cleaned up from the weekend (I know we did something, but now I can't even remember what!), weeded the garden, walked.

Tuesday: Mom's group, baking granola, bread, cinnamon rolls (all in one day--what was I thinking?), weeded the garden --again.

Wednesday: Walked, dropped Sierra off with friends (who used to babysit me when I was little! Thanks P & K!) to get some shopping done. Home for a nap, grocery shopping, then at the last minute a friend came for dinner with her two kids (Hamburger Helper is great!). Cleaned up the kitchen--again. Weeded the garden--again.

Thursday: Going to a friend's house with a bunch of others to bake cookies. Weeding the garden--again.

Friday: Andre's got the day off (yeah!)--going to the cities to visit G & G and get a haircut, maybe to the pool if summer returns? Weeding the garden--again.

We come to the end of our days and have been tired but enjoy sitting around the fire in our backyard roasting marshmellows--we thoroughly enjoy summer! And despite the amount of gardening/weeding we do, it allows for lots of conversation time. Andre's job is hitting another very stressful, very busy time, which means 10-12 hour days sometimes, but we are so thankful for each day that he has a job!
