We had great family time this July 4th weekend--Andre had Friday off and we headed to the cities to spend some time with my parents and sister. He got to got sailboating with my dad, and Sierra played at the beach. Saturday was a "task" day around our house, with playtime in between. One of our favorite things is sitting on our bed with Sierra and listening to all the chatter that comes from her--though sometimes we wish she'd sit still for longer than 10 seconds! We enjoyed all the neighborhood fireworks from our deck and rooftop in the evening. Sunday we went to vist Aunt Yad at her work as a park ranger, and got to play on the St. Croix River. Sierra was worn out in the car (above) from all the activity.
