Both kids were thrilled with the snow, though Ethan really had no idea what it was, just that Sierra was excited, and it looked pretty out the window in the darkness of 6am with the deck light on. Andre and Sierra had lots of fun playing out there--building a snowman, and then a little "hill" off of the deck steps for the kids to slide down.

Playing with the "pocket match" game I made for Sierra last year--really all he likes to do is pull the little slips of paper out. :)
