Hunting season...Andre shot a buck on opening day (Saturday) and will process it next week. Sunday I joined him in the stand for an hour and half -- and still don't fully understand the thrill of sitting quietly in the cold for hours on end, waiting for deer to come --but am glad to try to be a part of "his world". And we did enjoy having some time to whisper together while the kids were being watched by friends! :)
One little boy who loves his blanket! For some reason he's become more attached to it in the last week and carries it around more, whereas before it used to stay in his crib.

So sad when I put him down to try to take a picture of him in this cute hat.

The kids love the dogs (I do not--currently I try to tolerate them. It is two more beings who "need me", who shed hair on my floor and make noise barking and leave messes in the yard). They wrestle on top of them, give them their blankets, and try to put sunglasses on them.

I had the kids fingerpaint on some of my extra 12x12 white scrapbook pages that I never know what to do with...now they each have a "page" for their albums that I'll put pictures on later. I am thoroughly enjoying all the scrapbook time that I have now that the garden is done for the season. I'm way behind on both kids' albums. But I love creating, and sitting next to Andre in the office at night while he does homework as we listen to music has been so relaxing.

I made a fishing game for Sierra last Friday that she has been enjoying quite a bit! A stick, ribbon, big paper clip, and some "fish" covered in contact paper with a magnet stuck on each one. She needs some help to direct the paper clip to the magnet, but is delighted and calls herself a "fisherwoman".
