winter weekend

Celebrating my mom's new job as a nursing director and her birthday on Friday night before the storm came.

Our winter storm. The drifts are incredible. Ethan can hardly see out the sliding door the snow's so high.

Ethan loved the goggles that Andre put on before he went out to plow the driveway last night during the storm.
Having a tea party together. Ethan's attention span is quite short of course, but the table was complete with a battery-operated candle and a vase of fake flowers.

For the last week Sierra has only worn tights and fancy dresses--she calls them "bride dresses". We think it started when she watched Celtic Women Christmas last weekend and all the women are wearing fancy gowns. She even convinced me to put on my wedding dress (which still fits!) and twirl with her. I'm assuming it's phase for her, as she's never seen any princess movies, etc (and I still get odd looks from people when they ask her about Cinderella, etc and I tell them she has no idea who they are), and we'll enjoy watching her dance around in them, but also emphasize the inner beauty and how God created her.

Wow. All that snow. Incredible. Are you able to dig yourselves out? And gotta love that little princess with her 'bride'dresses. So very cute. Thanks Krista

nice snow! Also, Annie has recently been loving wearing dresses and tights, so they'll be in good company together next week. :) fun.
