more vacationing...at home

After our trip to Nebraska in June, Andre's sister and family came up and stayed with us for ten days. The kids played to their hearts content, we made a lot of food, and relaxed on the deck and in the driveway watching the kids play. It felt like vacation at home, though Andre was still working.

My sister-in-law and Will helped me pick strawberries at a berry patch the day before they left (two days before we went on vacation again!), since ours didn't produce much...and we came home with 40 pounds of strawberries! We managed to get it all canned into jam and into the freezer before we left.

Swimming in our little pool--they had great fun splashing! And the water is clean, just rusty as it's well water. :)
