Yep, harvest time continues! We pulled in all the pumpkins and squash and are now trying to find a place to put them.

We've been busy with this and that the last few weeks--harvesting and canning, visiting and traveling. The afternoon I got back from Iowa Andre's sister's in-laws and their five kids still at home (ages 6-14) came and stayed with us for the weekend, and just left here this morning (Monday). My kids loved having people to play with! Working my way through 7 loads of laundry today. Andre dislocated his shoulder at last night's soccer game, so he's in some pain and not functioning at full capacity. I'm trying to clean up the rest of the garden this week and will have him teach me to till I think! Off to Michigan this weekend for a wedding, while the kids stay at my parents. In the middle of this though, I'm enjoying cups of coffee, sunny days, kids who are one moment full of joy and laughter and the next tears and bickering (it's good for molding my soul, right?), and the smell of apples and pumpkins cooking.
