can you guess what this is?

a homemade "zamboni" for the ice rink (last week two 12 ft spotlights were added to the rink)...Andre is a man who will make vs buy things if he can, and delights in the process of creating something (provided there aren't too many hang-ups along the way) and seeing it turn out and work. Definitely an engineer, right? :) anyway, a hose is attached to the long handle. the pipe that is tied with dishtowels has tiny holes along it for water to come out. As he's pulling it along, the water comes out the holes, and the towels smooth it over, creating smooth ice. Crazy and genius. :)
