catching up

Sierra's birthday (back in February!)--she received a new hat and mitten set, and we can't miss her out in the snow!
Andre's parents and sister came to visit for a weekend in March...
Andre and his dad sorting out the lego sets.
His mom and sister made us piles of baked goods for our freezer one day...hot cross buns for Easter, and bullar (a Swedish cinnamon/cardmemom bun) and chocolate chip cookie dough balls.  Five weeks later and we're still enjoying their hard work!

the blue tongue on Ethan is from his sucker.  Love being surrounded by the life of my little ones.
Loving his bath.  Too bad he doesn't get them very often. ;)  The reality is that baths for him probably happen every other week, and if I'm really on top of it, once a week. :)
Sierra and Andre love puzzles.  She can now manage 100 piece puzzles.  Here they're working on a 300 piece one.
 Legos...
Sierra likes to write notes to us all the tiem, and make fancy letters.  I'm beginning to think that one of her top love languages is words of affirmation.
 Dyeing Easter eggs.
We got a new Samsung Galaxy tablet this last month, and all four of us love it!  The kids love listening to "books on tape"-we've listened to 101 Dalamatians and The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.  They also love to watch short clips of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse when I desperately need them to settle for a few minutes in this land of the forever winter.
We are part of a small group and a couple weeks ago we hosted a potluck for everyone.  There were 16 people...6 of whom happily shared the picnic table indoors.
My boys and I get to spend every morning together while Sierra is at preschool.
Riding her "new" bike the few days that the driveway was clear.  It is actually my old banana seat bike from when I was five!
We put a hammock under our dining room table this weekend and they listened to books.  Sorry for the fuzzy photo.  Ethan wouldn't hold still.
Our yard a few weeks ago, when we thought spring was going to come.
