This past weekend we celebrated Sierra's dedication on Sunday at Faith Community Church, and then her 1st birthday following. Andre's mom and grandparents came up from Nebraska, and my whole family was there as well, for a total of 14 of us for a soup and salad lunch and birthday cupcakes. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful gifts, for help with preparation and clean-up, and for being part of our day with us!
Sierra tried to take a nap, but after 20 minutes of hearing her talk to herself and dance in her crib, I figured she just wanted in on the party! She skipped her afternoon nap to open gifts, and was completely happy, but by the end of the day was walking around in a stupor almost she was so tired.
Andre's family helped out with preparing for the party. Here they're decorating the cupcakes.

Oh Krista, Andre and Sweet Sierra. What a joy it was to be with you this past weekend. I just left with smiles and my 'cup was full' of wonderful memories. Thankyou, thankyou. And sweet Sierra. What a special lady you are. You are SO loved. Farfar felt so bad that he didn't get to be there, because of the owwy on his neck.
