Back row: Andre, Sarah and Erik (his brother and wife), Eleanor (sister), Nate (brother-in-law). Front: the kids and I, Pappa, Will, Mamma, Joie (sister), and Annie.

Family photo time (much to the husbands' dismay!).

The four kids (Annie is 2 1/2, Will 4 1/2, Ethan 10 mo. and Sierra 2 1/2). Matching clothes thanks to Farmor!

My mother-in-law took us girls out for a nice lunch one day to a little tea room in town.

Playing on the beach one day while Andre's aunt and uncle took us on the boat (or wakeboarding/tubing/skiing). Ethan took a nap in the tent.

All the couples (including Andre's parents and grandparents) celebrated anniversaries within the months of May-July. One night his grandparents brought over a cake and had us all "cut" it like our wedding days. Then fooled us because it wasn't real!!
Gettting all of us crowded around the table for a meal.

Sierra and cousin Annie playing together.

The siblings went out for ice cream one morning while Andre's parents took the four kids to see llamas.
Andre's grandparents snapping beans while watching the antics of their great-grandkids.
The kids loved the little pool in the backyard and were in it almost every day. They loved telling anyone who would listen that they were "all wet!".

Ethan was very clingy the whole week--too much chaos for him, so he stuck close to me and cried almost anytime I walked out of sight.

Riding a miniature train that Andre's uncle drove as a volunteer, on a very hot day! The kids were thirsty and enjoyed the tiny cups from a water container at the station.

344 pictures between three cameras...so here's the ultra-condensed view of what our week involved with the Oldberg family. We ate a ton, slept little, played hard, argued a little, laughed and sang a lot. We were at Andre's parents' house, and half the family slept at a friend's house down the block. We were nine adults, four kids, and one tiny poodle.

Oh what a WONDERFUL week we had!! Great job on 'telling the story in pictures' Krista. Fun memories and what treasures we have in those 4 little people in our family. :) Thanks again for your parting it such a great week - your help in the kitchen, your laughter, your wonderful little cherubs, - it was just a very special time for us. I'm still going through withdrawal. sad.
