Up to the Cabin

Despite the fact that the water was quite cold (when we got up Sunday morning, it was 36 degrees outside!), Sierra still wanted to play in it.
Andre always splits wood while up there, helping to keep the piles going, especially with fall and winter approaching. He also got to go fishing twice (of course!).

My dad grew up going to the cabin, and loves being able to pass it on to his granddaughter.

Going down to the lake.

Sierra is obsessed with shutting doors, and could barely reach this one.

We headed up to the cabin this weekend with my parents, sister, and her boyfriend to get one last vacation in before the baby comes. I got to scrapbook a lot since my mom and sister watched Sierra. Sierra took lots and lots of walks (literally walking/running for 45 minutes at a time!)--she loved the freedom and didn't want to be in the stroller or backpack. Naps were long. :) We had yummy food and lots of relaxing together!

Looks like you guys had alot of fun. WE were so glad you were able to get away and get one last touch of that beautiful cabin setting before your new little baby comes. Only 23 days now. Yay. :)(at least we hope that will be THE day. After all, that is farmor's birthday too. :)
