And yes, we are desperate for spring... and have brought out the trike and little car for the kids to ride (or attempt to given the ice and snow and winter clothing). We even took a walk with the stroller today...in 25 degree weather, which felt quite warm given the previous frigid temps we've had!

So not only do we have sled "hill" or "track" running off our back deck, and a huge igloo/snow fort in the front yard right off the driveway, but Andre is now experimenting with creating his own ice rink in the back yard! I love this man! And he obviously loves winter! :) I would imagine in a few years ours is the house that the kids will all be at given the forts and hills and rinks that will be created....and expanded...and improved upon on in the years to come. :)

Way to embrace living in the cold Oldbergs! How did the ice rink work out? The fort looks like fun, did the kids enjoy it?
