New Year's in Nebraska

We made a last minute decision to head down to Nebraska for the New Year's weekend (actually, we were there four days) and spend time with Andre's parents and grandparents. We did nothing but relax and visit and have coffee and go to parks (the weather was spring-like for a couple days), have tea parties with Andre's grandma and watch movies. It was fabulous! Andre always comes home refreshed from having been with his parents and from relaxing in his way (watching movies and soccer and playing Xbox with his dad).
They love sleeping on the bunk cot that Andre and his siblings used when they were kids.
Coloring with Farfar.
Skyping with Farmor and their cousins in Korea. We are thankful for technology that keeps us in touch -- we just wish it was more often!
Having tea parties at Grandma Laurie's (Andre's grandparents live 5 minutes from his parents), complete with Christmas cookies and fancy China cups and saucers and sugar cubes! We did this twice while there, and it was a definite highlight of Sierra's.
