My sister got married!

So the pictures were supposed to end up in the opposite order, but the blogging site has changed recently and I'm still trying to figure it out....

BUT, my sister got married on May 5, and had a beautiful wedding and reception in the Twin Cities.  The ceremony was traditional and lovely, some great music as well with an organ, violin, trumpet and piano.  These are just a handful of pictures, and I was so disappointed to find I'd never taken one of her in her dress!  We got so caught up on getting our hair and make-up done, and then having the professional photographer take pictures, that it slipped right by me.

My mother-in-law drove up from Nebraska to watch the kids for the weekend of my sister's wedding, as I was in the wedding, and Andre was playing the violin for it.  They loved their time together and we were blessed to know that the kids were being loved on!
Enjoying a night out without kids at the rehearsal dinner, and eating some yummy food!  Below, my cousin and his wife (one of the bridesmaids) enjoying the same thing, with our aunt.

Practicing for the dance with Grandpa she knew was going to come at the reception...this was one of Sierra's highlights.

 My beautiful mother and I!
My handsome little man, who didn't want to dance at the reception because he was too tired...he just observed his sister.  Below, Sierra finally had her dance with her new Uncle Brian that he had promised her.  As soon as the music started she was out on the dance floor with anyone who would go with her.  At one point I looked over and she was in the middle of a large circle of women, dancing her heart out.

My dad and his mom and three brothers.
Gift opening was at my parents house the next morning, with more great food.

And for some reason this bottom picture ended up funny on the picture of the bride and groom to be on the rehearsal night!  Welcome to the family Brian!  And this is Ethan carefully caring his water bottle to the table, enjoying snacks at the church before the ceremony.
