The garden is finally planted, with the exception of a couple stray peppers and tomatoes still sitting on the deck, and as of this week we have been enjoying the first few crops...broccoli, peas, and piles and piles of raspberries.
Lunch today consisted of the kids picking their way through the raspberry bushes, then sitting down to piles of shelling peas...they eat the peas and give the shells to a very happy dog! This also ended up being the after supper activity...guess they didn't mind peas for dessert! :)
