As of this past week, Sierra is now riding without training wheels! She asked to have them off and within a half hour was up and down the driveway with confidence. Now she rides all over the yard, and wants to go down the street every day for a bike ride. Thankfully Ethan still likes the stroller, since he doesn't have a bike yet, and we don't have a bike trailer (though after seeing Andre put him in the backpack, strap a helmet on, and ride down the street with Ethan on his back, I'm thinking it's maybe time to get one? ...)
Enjoying a bike ride in the evening before bedtime.
Loving wearing shorts and flips in March and April!
There's a small church down the street from us that has an old sand volleyball pit, where they've added plastic trucks. The kids and I walk down there a couple times a week to play on the swings and in the sand.
The local indoor hockey rink was open to the public two days a week until mid-March. The kids and I joined Andre and his coworkers one day to watch them play and give the kids and I a chance to be on a big rink.
Eating their lunch in the stands and watching Andre play hockey with his coworkers--something they did over lunch twice a week.
Always looking for a trailer to pull...Ethan was creative and attached his sled to his trike, put the soccer balls in (another favorite), and away he went.
